Information
This is a standard template used to draft a letter of demand. Lawyers or those without lawyers (Individuals whom represent themselves "pro se") are encouraged to modify this letter for their case's own specific demands / requirements. The purpose of a demand letter is to notify your current intentions of filing suit to a prospective defendant. Moreover, anyone using a letter of demand should be warned that any "hallow" use of this letter without an actual intent to file a suit thereafter may be classified as extortion. Therefore, it is important that this letter is filed honestly and in good faith. (Click here to learn more about "Good Faith.")
